2,383 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Close Recording"

A collection of sounds of a magazine flipping through its pages and a heavy book slamming shut. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

Xy stereo recording from gärdet subway station in stockholm. This focuses on an older trains doors, various steams and similar "heavy" sound elements. In post: edited in pro tools with som bass cutting (eq) and automation to make some sounds stand out but still sound realistic. Put on a light compressor and pich-shifted down some elements to give more depth. This was in someway inspired by "dead space" tram and door sounds but slightly less "massive" and haunting. Ps. There's 2 versions of this recording. The one with "nr" in the title is noise reduced so sounds like the doors and steam are somewhat separated from the background. Hope you like it.

Purring of cat: this sound is extremely distinct. It is an up-close recording of the vibrations emitted by a cat when they are happy. It is an accurate representation because an actual cat was used to record this sound. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. Recorded on june 29, 2012 near the exit at webster's department store. This features how the checkout area at websters sounded from june 2012 untill its closing on november 3, 2015. This is part of a pack of 4k sounds recorded over 17 years commemorating my friend's department store which she owned. It showcases how the sounds in the store have changed over the years as the technology of teh store changes. Each recording is done within a week after the cash registers are upgraded. As of the date of this posting, webster's is now closed, and will re-open as a walmart in january of 2016.
